Teslatlas Hub
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Teslatlas Hub, published by MAGRATHEAN UK LTD (“Magrathean”). The Magrathean terms also apply, including the sections on liability and law. Teslatlas Hub has no purchases or subscriptions; it is free software.
Your licence
Teslatlas Hub’s source code is free software, licensed under the GNU Affero General Public Licence, version 3 only, together with Magrathean’s own additional terms under section 7 of that licence. The licence governs the code itself; these terms cover using Teslatlas Hub as Magrathean’s product.
Running your own Hub
You install and run Teslatlas Hub on your own server, under your own authority. You are responsible for having lawful authority to access every vehicle, account and database you connect it to, and for following those providers’ own terms. Do not run Teslatlas Hub and another data collector on the same Tesla credential at the same time; each one refreshing the token can lock the other out.
Safe use
Teslatlas Hub records and analyses vehicle data; it is not a vehicle control or safety system, and its data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on it in an emergency, for battery or charging safety decisions, or as evidence for warranty, insurance, legal or tax purposes without independent verification. Names
“Teslatlas”, “Teslatlas Hub” and “Magrathean” are our trade marks. The software licence gives no right to use them; see the Hub’s trade marks notice for what is and is not allowed without our permission.
Availability
Teslatlas Hub is provided as it is, with no guaranteed availability. Features that depend on your Tesla account, a TeslaMate-compatible source, or another third-party service may change or stop working when those services change.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version.
