Tescam Terms of Use
1. Who we are
These terms apply when you use Tescam, an app published by MAGRATHEAN UK LTD (“Magrathean”). The Magrathean terms also apply, including the sections on liability and law.
2. Your licence
Tescam is free software. Its source code is published on GitHub under the GNU General Public License, version 3 (GPL-3.0-only), which lets you use, study, change and share it on the terms of that licence.
If you downloaded Tescam from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement governs that copy, and these terms add to it. Neither limits your rights to the source code under the GPL. The GPL does not cover the Tescam name or icon.
3. Third-party services
Tescam does not connect to any third-party service, account or API, including Tesla’s. It works only with recordings you select from local storage.
4. Using the app safely and lawfully
The TeslaCam and Sentry Mode recordings you process with Tescam can contain personal data about other people, such as other drivers, passengers or pedestrians. You are responsible for collecting, retaining, exporting and sharing that footage lawfully, including under applicable data-protection, privacy and surveillance law.
5. Availability
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version.
