Tesatlas for Mac:
direct purchase terms and privacy
These terms apply when you buy Full Access for the Tesatlas for Mac version downloaded from magrathean.uk. Tesatlas from the App Store (iPhone, iPad and the Mac App Store) is covered by the Tesatlas terms and Apple’s terms instead.
Who we are
Tesatlas is made by MAGRATHEAN UK LTD (“Magrathean”, “we”). We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16955343), with our registered office at 16 Caledonian Court, West Street, Watford WD17 1RY, United Kingdom. Email: contact@magrathean.uk. We are not registered for VAT.
Who sells and takes payment
Your order is sold through Link (Sold through Link, LLC), the reseller that Stripe uses. Link is the merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges any tax, sends your receipt and handles payment questions under the Link terms. We grant you the licence described below.
What you buy
Full Access for the direct download of Tesatlas for Mac:
- history for up to the last 365 days;
- on-device AI features, where your Mac supports them;
- alternate app icons.
The free download already includes the last 30 days. The app needs a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 26 or later, and your own TeslaMate data source. Drive weather is not available in the direct download.
Price
Full Access is one payment of £19.99 or €19.99 including tax, or US$19.99 plus any sales tax, as shown at checkout. There is no subscription.
Delivery and activation
After you pay, we email a licence file and licence key to the address you used at checkout, usually within a few minutes. Download the app from magrathean.uk. To activate Full Access, open the licence file, or paste the key in Settings > Import licence. Activation works offline, and the app does not contact us to check your licence. Keep the email: it is your licence and your proof of purchase. If you lose it, email us and we will send it again.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Tesatlas for Mac with Full Access:
- on the Macs you own or control;
- for yourself and your household;
- for as long as you keep the app.
You may not sell, transfer or publish your licence key. Full Access covers the direct download and the updates we publish for it; we do not promise particular future features.
A direct licence does not unlock Tesatlas from the App Store. App Store purchases do not unlock the direct download.
Refunds
If you change your mind, email contact@magrathean.uk and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason. Link’s terms also give consumers in the UK and the EU 14 days to cancel.
A refunded or disputed licence is revoked and stops working in later versions of the app.
If you buy from a country where direct purchase is not available, we refund the payment automatically and do not issue a licence.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or to a refund.
Support and complaints
Email contact@magrathean.uk. We aim to reply within two working days.
Liability
Tesatlas shows information from your own data source. It does not control your vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide disputes. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the European Union, you may also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep the mandatory protections of your local law.
Privacy for direct purchases
MAGRATHEAN UK LTD is the controller of the purchase data described here. Contact us at contact@magrathean.uk.
What we receive. When you buy, Link and Stripe give us:
- your email address;
- your billing country;
- the order and payment references;
- the amount and currency.
We never receive your card details. Link processes payment data as merchant of record under its own privacy notice.
What we keep. We keep a licence record in our database on Cloudflare: the licence ID, your email address, your country, the order references, the licence status and the dates. We send licence emails through Google Workspace.
Why. We use this data to deliver your licence, send it again if you lose it, and handle refunds and support. That is part of our contract with you. We also keep it to meet our accounting obligations.
How long. We keep the record while your licence is valid, so that we can resend it, and for up to six years for accounting. You can ask us to delete it sooner, but we will then be unable to resend your licence.
Who helps us. We use these services:
- Stripe and Link, for payments; they act as an independent controller and merchant of record;
- Cloudflare, for hosting, our database and downloads;
- Google, for email.
They may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
The app. Activation happens offline, and the direct download sends us no data. How the app handles your vehicle data is described in the Tesatlas privacy policy. This website’s analytics are described in the Magrathean privacy policy.
Your rights. You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- restrict how we use it;
- stop using it;
- move it to another service.
