Teslatlas -Help & FAQ

Simple answers for common setup and support questions.

Quick answers for connection setup, sync issues, privacy, and subscriptions.

Setup

How do I connect Teslatlas?

Choose one of two setup modes in onboarding: Local for a direct TeslaMate PostgreSQL connection, or MyTeslaMate for the web API route.

What do I need for Local setup?

Enter the host, port, database name, username, and password for your TeslaMate PostgreSQL database. Teslatlas tests the connection before setup finishes.

What do I need for MyTeslaMate setup?

In MyTeslaMate, enable TeslaMate API access first, then enter your endpoint and the login details or token that your setup uses.

What data does Teslatlas read?

Teslatlas reads from TeslaMate only. The local PostgreSQL path is read-only, the app does not write back to TeslaMate, and it does not send Tesla commands.

Why does the app ask for Local Network access?

Local mode connects straight to your PostgreSQL server on your network, so iPhone or iPad needs permission to reach that local host.

Sync fixes

What should I do if sync looks stale or incomplete?

Start with the in-app refresh or catch-up action for your current mode. If local data still looks wrong, use the rebuild or history refresh tools to rebuild the local mirror and caches.

Does Teslatlas keep data on the phone?

Yes. Teslatlas mirrors the data it needs into local app storage on your device so charts, routes, and recent history stay available inside the app.

Privacy & billing

How do subscriptions work?

Teslatlas includes a paid subscription managed through Apple. Use the app to restore purchases, and use your Apple subscription settings to manage or cancel billing.

Still need help?

Email and include the app name, the problem you hit, and what you already tried.
